The Cactualdea park in the west of the island of Gran Canaria Just one hours drive from Playa Mogan is a must for all gardeners and cactus fans. Here there is more than 1,200 types of cactus  from all over the world. Including exotics from Mexico, Madagascar, Guatemala and Bolivia which grow between palms or aloe Vera in the blue sky. Small and elegantl with and without blossom and in an impressive setting this 15,000 square meter cactus garden is an exotic experience of the special kind. You also be inspired to create your own cactus garden when you return home and take some of the many different cactus plants home with you. A small gift is included as a souvenir in the entry price. For the healthy growth of the plants, the water rich in minerals which bubbles from its own spring is used and also can be bought by visitors to the park. It soon becomes becomes clear that water is not like  the water you drink at home.
